Kituo and 16 days of Activism

UncategorizedNovember 21, 20150 CommentsKituo Cha Sheria

Only four days left until we together take a stand against ALL forms of violence against women.

This year’s theme announcement for the 16 days of activism is: “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All!” with the focus on sexual violence with impunity school children and young people, and sexual assault in academic or other educational settings.

This is the first time Kituo is joining 16 days of activism and our ambition is to create awareness on the rights of victims of sexual gender based violence (SGBV), engaging the public in appreciating, acknowledging and accepting victims/survivors of SGBV.

Our Haki blog will feature informative articles about sexual gender based violence to create more awareness on the matter. So, if you want to learn more or have friends that do – visit our blog during the 16 days.

We are currently working on a documentary on SGBV and an educative animated video clip that will be premiered during the 16 days of activism

Tomorrow, we will announce a social media campaign in form of a challenge. We don´t want to reveal much but there is a prize involved, check it out tomorrow.
